Update on the Judicial Review Applications Against the Decision Made by the Respondents (The Minister of MITI, Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), The Finance Minister & the Government of Malaysia)
Reference is made to the announcement dated 4 December 2023 in relation to the above judicial review application filed by Mycron Steel CRC Sdn Bhd ("Mycron CRC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mycron Steel Berhad,
against the decisions of the Respondents (the Minister of MITI, MITI, the Minister of Finance and the Government of Malaysia) ("the Application").
The Board of Directors of MYCRON STEEL BERHAD wishes to inform that following a constructive discussion in relation to the matter and after due consideration of the overall circumstances, Mycron CRC has decided to
discontinue the Application in the best interests of the Group.
The discontinuance does not arise from any adverse determination by the Court on the substantive merits of the Application.
